Empowered Brands is backed by RM Funds which is an alternative asset management business. Founded in 2010, with offices in London and Edinburgh, the firm manages capital on behalf of institutional investors, multi-asset allocators, family offices and retail investors. Since inception the business has transacted in excess of £50 billion of assets, and advised and or originated, structured and managed over £1.5bn of sterling assets and over €700m in European assets.

The fastest growing boxing & strength provider in the world
Co-founded by Managing Director, Tim West and four-time world champion Australian boxer, Danny Green, UBX Training began franchising in 2016 under its Australia brand UBX Training. In 2019, the brand expanded overseas with the first UBX Training club opening in New Zealand. As of 2024, there are over 100 locations globally across 7 countries.

The market leader in digitally operated, staffless gyms
Founded in Germany by Björn Krämer and Torsten Boorberg in 2016, fit+ has grown to over 250 gyms in over 10 countries, taking the European market by storm and proving the success of the model. fit+ partnered with Empowered Brands in early 2024 to rollout the brand across the UK & Ireland.

Mark comes with 13+ years of global franchising experience, 11 of which served in the United States as Chief Technology & Training Officer followed by Chief Executive Officer for North America, Latin America and Canada. With a core skillset across change management and team leadership, Mark recently led the successful business model pivot turning a predominantly B2C orientated business into a successful B2B focused franchise.
